primary school art and wellbeing sessions

I ran art and wellbeing sessions for 4 weeks at Coryton primary school as well as working closely with the students 2 days a week with there other learning. The students were from a year 5 class ages 9-10 with a range of different art skills. The aims I had been aims and outcomes i had been asked to work towards in this project was to encourage teamwork and give the participants a safe space to create with no judgment. I absolutely loved providing a creative outlet for these children each week , letting them experiment with different mediums and learn new skills. I am interested and motivated by embedding greenspace more into the school curriculum and wanted to put this into my sessions by focusing on, suitability, natural art and taking my students outdoors encouraging a lively and vibrant learning environment.
